Utility Applications
RamLog 6.1 also includes additional utility programs which includes a Data Checker,
Task Documentation Editor and a RamLog Manager.
RamLog Manager
The RamLog Manager is used to manage and create RamLog databases. It provides
the user with the capability to:
- Control the number of concurrent users;
- Perform database management functions;
- add users/user groups;
- assign user roles to users;
- and perform database maintenance functions.
Data Checker
The RamLog Data Checker provide the user with the ability to verify a RamLog
input data. The user can prepare the data and export the data to a csv file,
using a spreadsheet product such as MS Excel, and verify the data against
a set of data validation rules.
Task Documentation Editor
The Task Documentation Editor is a standalone application which enable
the user to develop task related Technical Documentation. The user can edit extracted
the data from the system database and the have the ability to download the updated
data back into the system database. It also provides the ability to annotate drawings
and photos as required.
RamLog Picklists
The RamLog database, the Data Checker and the RamLog Manager
are using static data for data validation, picklists and drop down boxes. These
lists of codes are based on one of the following rules: (The Picklist used is dependent
on the installation)
- MIL-STD-1388-2B (MIL-STD-1388-2B.pls)
- DEF STAN 00-60 (DEF STAN 00-60.pls)
- RamLog Standard 001 (RL-STD-001.pls)
